  • Drupal 7 Soft Landing
    • This is a Drupal community initiative to help people with Drupal 7 websites either upgrade to the new version of Drupal or migrate to a different platform.

  • Options
    • Archive the site
      • If the site is no longer active, you can archive it by turning it into a static site.
    • Migrate to WordPress
      • If your website is relatively simple, WordPress might be a good fit.
    • Migrate to Backdrop
      • If your website is moderately complicated, ie: has several different content types, Backdrop could be a good fit.
    • Migrate to Drupal 10
      • Modern Drupal is now on version 10. If your site is complex, Drupal 10 might be a good fit.
  • Find a Partner
    • Many of these migration options are complex and require partnering with a freelancer or web shop.
