Facilitated by Tomas Krag, Refugees United

Session Description

Tomas pioneered the concept of a "book sprint" when the book "Wireless Networking for the Developing World" was written and published in a single week in 2005. Adam Hyde and FLOSSManuals, inspired in part by the book sprint concept, created the FLOSSManuals.net platform to support collaborative authoring of books and manuals. Tomas will discuss the history of book sprints, demonstrate the FLOSSManuals platform and the new Booki release and brainstorm ideas for future book sprints.
