Session Description

FreeGeek Chicago recycles used computers and parts to provide functional computers, education and job skills training in exchange for community service. FreeGeek Chicago was started at a Penguin Day in Chicago in 2005. We'll discuss FreeGeek's history, community governance model, revenue strategies, funding-raising policy, and the challenges FreeGeek faces over the next five years.
