Building an Open Source Platform to Teach Peacebuilding

Session Description

The Open Simulation Platform has been developed at the United States Institute as an education tool for teaching conflict resolution skills. The platform supporting authoring and facilitating of role-playing simulations where learners assume the person of stakeholders in conflict situations and engage in online dialog to work toward shared understanding of the situation. Jeff will demonstrate the platform and discuss where the project is at and where it plans to go.
